Fright Night at Newbattle was long awaited by the Staff and Pupils. The staff dressed up while students hunted for a murderer around the college. The students began with a hunt through gunge for creepy crawlies, they then had to find "The Dr of Death" to answer questions, finally they had to reach the monk and get the clues. There were a lot of screams and jumps in the blacked out college especially with the ghost wandering the corridors. It finished at 11 with Ghost Stories in the Chapel and prizes for completing the murder mystery.
